About

Curious??

DaphneTo get a feel for what W.I.S.E. is and what I’m doing here, I’ll start with a story. A story about a woman who has a dream and is working to make that dream come true…

It was a dark and stormy night…oh, wait! That’s another tale! ;)

I realized late in 2007 that the corporate and retail rat-race were not bringing me anything but stress and unhappiness. The endless rules, the grueling hours, and the poor compensation wore me down completely! I finally decided that I would take ownership of my work world. Be my own woman, so to speak. I took stock of my talents and skills and began building my four businesses over the past year. I want to share my experiences and knowledge, and meet other business woman, so I’ve expanded into network marketing and personal coaching via MLM Realms | W.I.S.E. What a wonderful journey of learning this has been!

If you’re curious to learn more about me, I’ll share that I was born in Puerto Rico, but grew up an East Coaster in the US. I come from a big family, and have two
grown children who are really cool kids. *grin* I’m married to a Leo which keeps me on my Aquarius toes. Growing up I was a nerdy bookworm, with a passion for music as well. Those interests have stayed with me, along with a plethora of other interests in such things as astronomy, crafts, comparative spirituality, and pc/techie things (I’ve been a nethead since ’93). I’m the only woman playing in a private Yahoo Fantasy Football Pick’Em League that is full of men. {I didn’t do too shabby this year coming in 5th out of 13 men!}

I’m the proverbial “Jane of All Trades” having been a secretary, maid, bank teller, network planning analyst, paint department supervisor, event planner, and more. So, you can see I’ve tried lots of things and haven’t been satisfied nor fulfilled. I’m also a student of comparative religions, having studied A Course in Miracles, Conversations With God, Celtic Shamanism, Esoteric Christianity, Native American traditions, Qabalah, Tarot, and Astrology. I’ve had my own personal tough times and heartaches (as I’m sure you’ve had). Yet no matter if the times are good or bad, having my own business brings me the satisfaction and fulfillment I was missing, and brings the opportunity to be financially free. Not to mention it allows me to free my creative muse!

So, that’s my story! W.I.S.E. is about sharing, interacting, giving back in a time when that doesn’t happen without a lot of teeth-pulling and arm-twisting. Or when there isn’t a huge price tag involved. Or some hidden agenda. Many women have been raised to believe that they are limited and incapable. I was fortunate enough to have a mother who broke those barriers and gave me a vision of all the possibilities within me. (Thank you, Mom!)

I hope that W.I.S.E. brings you the tools and knowledge to help you be a successful and prosperous woman. I hope it brings out your passion, your truth, your talents, and your creativity. Soon enough you will find yourself to be a magnet for other women and you’ll also be able to give back and share.

Together, we can learn and grow. Together, we can shine our Inner Light and be the wonderful women we are! Together, we can change our lives and change the world!

Your Partner in Success,

Daphne

  • The Walking Woman
    My plans to continue with exercising have had to be modified due to this stubborn torn arm muscle that is healing at a snail’s pace. However, I’ve been doing lots of walking! Now, this is a good thing, but its also a bit rough on my hip joints given the humidity here in South Florida. […]
  • End of the Hiatus
    Life’s been rather on the nutty side of late, so my attempt to workout has been totally, massively de-railed. Boo! Sob! Another trip out of town, mega web design and business projects, writing, allowing a torn muscle to heal, and other health issues are the culprits. I’m feeling better on the hormonal front, which is […]
